Animated Videos

Here are some videos using different techniques and methods of animation. They use programs such as Adobe Flash and Toonboom which is a program where you can import real video in then doodle on top of the video frame by frame to create a real life animation video. There are a number of different methods for animating some of which are Maya, hand drawing then taking pictures of them, and even stop-motion using toys and/or people. Check these out then try one for yourself.

Walk cycles can be tricking, so try drawing it out first the practice animating it. Practice is the best way to be good at anything.

Another interesting way to animate cartoons is to draw it out on paper frame by frame as though you were doing it through the computer. To do this, you first draw out the first frame or page then you continue on page by page or frame by frame changing the scene. Once you have this completed you then take photographs of all of these images. You will edit these photos together to create a moving film with just pictures.
